# POASMS

> POASMS (poasms.com) is a bulk SMS and WhatsApp Business API platform for Tanzania, made by NetPoa Limited (Dar es Salaam). TZS 18 per SMS to Vodacom, Airtel, Yas, Halotel and TTCL; WhatsApp from TZS 20 per message. Pay with M-Pesa, Mixx by Yas, Airtel Money, card or bank. Web console for non-technical users plus a REST API with PHP, JavaScript and WHMCS SDKs.

- Price: TZS 18 per SMS part, minimum purchase 1,000 SMS, credits never expire, no monthly fee.
- WhatsApp: utility TZS 40, authentication/OTP TZS 40, marketing TZS 100, service reply TZS 20 per message.
- Sender IDs: send immediately as "POASMS", or request your own brand name (approval handled by POASMS).
- Personalisation: {name}, {first_name}, {phone} and custom fields per contact group, with {field|fallback}.
- Contacts: import .csv/.xlsx/.ods from Excel, groups with custom fields, templates, opt-outs.
- Campaigns: send now, schedule, or repeat daily/weekly/monthly (incl. twice weekly/monthly).
- Billing: prepaid credits (balance shown as SMS) or postpaid with monthly invoices; TRA receipts; low-balance alerts by SMS, WhatsApp and email.
- API: https://poasms.com/api/v1 — POST /sms/send, GET /sms/{id}, POST /whatsapp/send (template, otp or text), GET /balance, GET /usage, sender-ids, contacts, opt-outs. Bearer keys poa_live_/poa_test_; webhooks signed with X-PoaSMS-Signature (HMAC-SHA256).
